Amarina Green Hotel

Quite place and comfortable clean rooms

Far away from the beach

Overall, it was a lovely stay. The beds were a bit harder than what we're used to, but the rooms were comfortable other than that. The pool was nice and relatively clean. The staff were very nice.

Proximity of pool to our room. It exceeded our expectations, very good value for money.

Economical on toilet paper. Toilet seat in our room was precarious!Air conditioner doesn’t stay on unless the room key is in the key slot ,that controls all the power to the room.

Big room, walking distance to beach. Restaurants nearby.

No sound isolation between rooms, can hear almost every noise from the room next to me.

The property is peaceful, clean and staff were friendly. It’s also only a few minutes walk to Lamai night market and the beach.

Tiny thing but the pool area doesn’t get sun.

Comfortable, location very central to Lamai for restaurants & beach.

Needing some maintenance due to age of the property example new better shower new bedside lamps which were broken & safe not working. Swimming pool very shallow and no sun during the day.

A wonderful place, far from the city noise and partying tourists. Nevertheless, it's only a 10-minute leisurely walk to the Lamai night market. Our room was located on the first floor near the pool. There was no smell of chlorine, the pool was clean, and they took great care of it. Water samples were taken regularly. The water in the pool felt cool, but it was even pleasant, you could refresh yourself. The hotel owner was very friendly, as was all the staff. We loved everything.

Nice view and very good location but if you can stand the smell. There was an extremely unpleasant smell, likely because the place hadn’t been cleaned properly. The fridge was dirty, there were fingerprints all over the wardrobe, and the bedroom had an inch of dust. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a more unpleasant place. The only positive aspect was the view, which was peaceful and quiet. However, the bed felt like sleeping on the ground, and the pillow was as hard as a brick. There are definitely cheaper hotels with cleaner and more comfortable beds. Unfortunately, I was misled by the positive reviews. The picture with the wet wipe is from the bed and also a picture from the sheets with some yellow spots.

There was mold in the air conditioning unit, and an unpleasant smell in the room. Additionally, there was a large gap in the window on the terrace, which could easily allow insects to enter.

This place is amazing and we would love to stay longer. We stayed four nights and had a great time here. The room was next to the pool and very quiet during nights. The staff at this place is so kind and helpful. We planned originally to stay just a night and were always welcome to extend what we did. It’s a good location to explore Koh Samui. Fully recommend this lovely hotel. Tim and Sina

Pleasant quiet. In walking distance to limou. Beach is nice. Beautiful coffee down the road. Lovely quiet swimming pool. If you want to relax this is the place for you.

Lovely pool & comfortable, clean room.

Staff were sometimes hard to talk to, not the most friendly.

The rooms were very spacious ! Quiet resort with nice pool area! Also easy to rent moped

There was a sizeable gap in balcony door when locked which plenty insects could get through! Didn’t matter much to us because thankfully there were none but noticed it wasn’t just our balcony doors

Beautiful quiet accommodation. Very clean. Lovely swimming pool.which we had to ourselves. Within walking distance of some lovely restaurants.

It would have been good to have some drinks and refreshments available at reception, but once we had found the nearest shop, it was not too much of a problem

Perfect location , excellent value for money, peace and quiet , that was my second stay at amarina green definitely come back in the future

Bathroom need update

The pool is good and staff were friendly and helpful .It is quiet for sleeping

It would be good to have a modern TV

We stayed for 5 nights and we loved our stay. The hotel is surrounded with nature so it is so peaceful. The swimming pool was great addition and always refreshing. We were provided new water everyday in glass bottles which we appreciated. Everyone was friendly and smiling all the time - recommend 100%

The room was nice and spacious. The air conditioning worked well and kept the room really cool.

The toilet in the bathroom leaked a lot water all over the floor. The shower head did not fit into the bracket and there was no door on the shower so that too ended up spraying water all over.

Quiet location and very friendly helpful staff

Pool is very shallow, but difficult to change that

Nothing really

The bed sheets had crusty materials on them for multiple days. Cut nails from previous guests in the side of the bed. The cleaner forgot to clean out our for a couple of days but she was playing with her phone all evening under the stairs. When she cleaned our room, the crusty material just moved location on the bed. At the end we decided to move to a different hotel and despite our complain about the state of the room they didn’t refund the last two nights which we left.
